From August 18th till the 24th The 26th International Ornithological Congress was held at Rikkyo University in Tokyo.  Ornithologists and bird enthusiasts from all over the world gathered to present data and exchange the knowledge gained from their conducted research. The Japanese Society for the Preservation of Birds also presented two posters and data from our attempts to conserve the little tern species.
